STAAD.Pro tells you a lot about your structure, but not the one thing purchasing asks for first: how much steel, and of what. Plate weights in particular never appear in STAAD's output, so the take-off usually ends up as a manual spreadsheet, member by member.
MTO Generator reads your STAAD model and produces the full material take-off in seconds.

How it works

Open your STAAD model and select the members or plates to take off, or run it on the whole model.

Run the extraction. The tool reads section properties from STAAD and calculates detailed, summary and plate-wise weights.

Check the totals: member-by-member weights, quantities per section and plate weights by thickness.

Export the report to Excel and send it straight to purchasing or your quote sheet.
